Something I've been wanting to know more about is how sperm cells actually stop periods. I realize that if you become pregnant, naturally you would stop having periods, but how does that happen? Does it happen when fertilization initially happens? Are hormones or chemicals sent to your body when this occurs? Or does your period automatically stop when conception/implantation occurs?
