So, as you've already been reading about, periods can be late for all sorts of reason. Too, it's completely normal to have a period that arrives a few days later of earlier than expected. It may also help to know that a late period is generally considered so only once it is five days later than the latest it is expected, so your period is only now transitioning into the "late" category.
