What does queer mean?

I see it a lot on this website and i just thought it was another way of saying gay but it is used a bunch of ways so idk...

People use it a lot of different ways.

But the main ways most people use it (to describe themselves positively, not as a slur) is a) as an umbrella term for being pretty much anything that isn't heterosexual and/or heteronormative, including being gay and/or b) to mean some kind of bisexual or pansexual, specifically.

Sure. That means ideas like:
• men are supposed to be the ones to make the sexual first move and women are supposed ot be sexually passive
• women are nurturing and warm and men are emotionally selfish and cold
• sex is penis/vagina intercourse (only or mostly that)
• a romantic or sexual relationship being "successful" is about things like there being a marriage and biological children
