I'm a 13 year old nonbinary female assigned at birth person, and I want to get a sex toy. I know I'm a little young for this but I think I'm ready for one. I want to just ask my parents, but I'm scared how they'll react. Is ther any other way I could get one? I've heard that Spencer's doesn't ID, but I don't know if that's true, plus since I look SO young I don't think they'd let me anyway. Thanks!

Hi YeetGarnet,

If you're interested in experimenting with sex toys, one option is to find ways to D.I.Y one. This article has some ways you could do that:
D.I.Y. Sex Toys: Self-Love Edition . Do any of those options look doable to you?

With asking your parents, have they given you any sense in the past on how they view things like sex or masturbation? Or do you feel like you've never heard them talk about those subjects at all?

I looked at the article, a few of them sound good. My parents are usually pretty open and accepting topics surrounding sex, masturbation, etc.

It's good to hear your parents are open and accepting!

Do you think they could help you with this if you asked them?
