Not sure if my period was something to worry about..
I am on the pill and I always get my withdraw bleed on the last placebo pill. Usually starts light and the blood is slightly oxidized, but gets heavier and the blood color changes. I got my period when I was supposed to, but this time through the eintirety of 4 days it was only brown and sometimes dark brown. It never got heavier than a change of pads twice a day and its as if I was too dry for it be able to expel properly, I wouldn't even have notcies I got my period if I didn't check by putting a tampon in. Is this worrysome and should I go to the doctor or does this happen?

Hi Tassha,
It's pretty common to have a period that's lighter than normal or has some variation in flow color. So, as of right now, it doesn't sound like a visit to a healthcare provider is necessary.

And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
