Spotting

Hi! Just wondering if this is normal or a cause for concern.

I recently just finished my period and then two days after the bleeding stopped I noticed two small dots of blood on my underwear. Is light spotting after a period a normal thing?

Hi omnomnonny,

Some people do find that they get a little stray spotting a day or two after their period has ended, so this is not really something to be concerned about. If you notice the spotting isn't stopping, or it seems attached to symptoms like pain or discomfort, then it would be time to check in with a healthcare provider.
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
