Hi hinata,

Since you've started taking a birth control pill, that should offer you a high level of protection from pregnancy. Can you clarify for me how long ago you started the pill? Have you taken more than one pack, or are you still on the first pack?

Okay, so since it sounds like there wasn't a month where you weren't on a birth control pill of some kind, as long as you're taking your pill daily you can assume you have a high level of protection from pregnancy if you choose to have vaginal intercourse. However, if you wanted to reduce the pregnancy risks from intercourse as much as possible and have protection from STIs, you would want to back up with condoms.
