Period issue
Dear scarleteen, I noticed that for the past two withdrawn bleedings my bleed is basically absent and very scanty. I’ve taken the pill for almost three years now, is this something that happens normally? Just periods slowly fading the longer you’re on the pill?

Re: Period issue
Hi Tassha!
I hope I can help.
This is something that can happen.
Withdrawal bleeds are caused by the reproductive system reacting to hormones being suddenly removed on the placebo-pill week. It may be that over the past 3 years your body has just evolved how it reacts. Just as other aspects of our bodies change and evolve over time.
