Is it normal to be anxious about having to large of a penis?
I'm 20 years old and I've been anxious about my penis being to big. I heard horror stories from female friends about sex with dudes around my size being painful and unpleasant.
So is it normal for me to be anxious of my size? since I am slightly larger than average.

Hi Trentyp,
Welcome to the boards
Unfortunately, it's normal to have all kinds of worries about our bodies, but it doesn't need to be! Having a penis that is larger or smaller on average doesn't mean anything in particular for your sex life, since if we're talking about vaginal intercourse then vaginas are muscular organs that actively stretch and contract to grip whatever is inside them. The key to ensuring that it feels good (not painful or unpleasant) is to take the time to make sure everyone is aroused and intercourse is a really wanted thing and to communicate around what depths and tempos feel good for everyone. This is a good read on the topic: From OW! to WOW! Demystifying Painful Intercourse. Does that help?
