Would a pregnancy test be accurate at 25 days after sex?

Hi Pacster,

Check the packaging of the test you choose to see how soon after sex it can be used to give an accurate result. Usually, you need to wait a minimum of 14 days from the pregnancy risk. You can read more here: Peeing on a Stick: All About Pregnancy Tests

Also, if you've had the kinds of sex that can cause pregnancy, you might want to think about making sure you're up-to-date with your STI checkups too - have you been tested recently?

I no longer have the box, but it was a dollar store test. Yes both of us have been tested and have a clean bill of health.

Hi Pacster,

In that case, you might want to look online for the directions (if you can remember the name of the brand) or go back to the store and take a peek at the directions on the box.
