Periods and Chance of getting pregnant
Hello! I'm a trans guy and i'm about to start HRT (yay!) Though, i'm also sexually active with my girlfriend who is a trans woman. We do have vaginal sex fairly often but with me starting HRT i'm not sure how long into taking hormones it will take till i lose my ability to get pregnant and have periods.
I'm also not currently on any birth control.
I'm also not currently on any birth control.

Mazel! How exciting.
Your HRT isn't something you should figure is an effective from of birth control all by itself, at any stage. By all means, for some people, that changes or impedes their fertility enough they won't get pregnant, but other people won't have it be that way. In order to not become pregnant, now and after you start T, you'll need to use at least one method of effective contraception consistently and correctly.
Do you want or need any help figuring out a method or pair of methods (using two methods is the most effective way to prevent pregnancy, and using condoms as one of those ways also gives important STI prevention)?
