Birth control and periods

I'm on combo birth control pill. Almost 2 years now. Will my period get lighter and lighter over time and eventually go away?

Hi Meggy,

Monthly bleeding experienced on birth control tends to continue, perhaps becoming lighter. This won't be the same for everyone though.
