Hi Indi1578,

Nope, putting things in your vagina/vaginal canal can't delay the start of your period. Periods are all about hormones and how they communicate with your reproductive system. Right now, the average age someone is when they get their first period is 12 or 13, but plenty of people have it start later than that. So, not having your period yet is no cause for concern. Does that help?
