Vomiting and Birth Control Absorption Time
Hi! I'm on Junel Fe 21 day birth control and I usually take my pill around 9pm. The second to last day of my active pills (of my first pack) I took it around 8:30pm and then puked around 1:30am. During the 7 day break I got my withdrawal bleed and the next Sunday I was starting my pills my boyfriend and I had unprotected intercourse. That Sunday I took my pill (the start of my second pack) at 9pm. My question is: was my pill absorbed or when I puked it did it leave my system? Should I be concerned or is it silly to worried?

Vomiting five hours after taking a pill would not compromise your protection, as the pill would have been absorbed by then. It'd only be a problem if you throw up within a couple of hours after taking a pill.
