Unread post by Questionss »

so i normally take my birth control between 7-8am. this morning i had work at 7 so i took the pill around 6:30. Is this still ok? And would this compromise the pills effectiveness at all?

If you use a combined oral contraceptive (one with both estrogen and progestin), you have a 12 hour grace period to take pills within before they are late, and that grace period also applies to taking pills early. If you are using a mini-pill (one with only progestin), then you have a three-hour grace period.

So, as you can see, no matter what kind of pill you take, something like this is no problem. :)
