What are...
...three websites you absolutely visit every day (or awfully close to that often)?
Alas, because being online is almost entirely about work for me, and almost always has been mostly about that, my own list is work-related: for me it's our website, and then our Facebook and Twitter.
However, lately, I have been sooooooo loving this couple and their awesome approach to counter-protest, so I have been checking this one pretty much daily: http://saturdaychores.tumblr.com/
(Just a general reminder with sites and links per our guidelines: please don't link to sites marked as 18+, primarily because sites which exclude a bunch of our userbase from them just isn't sound here. I'm also going to make a personal beg that no one actively link to Gawker sites, like Jezebel, here, because my dogs get really freaked out when I scream. )

Re: What are...
The first one that I spend way, way, way too much of my time on is also a bit of an embarrassing secret of mine, but apparently not so embarrassing that I won't tell you guys anyway. It's an online game/forum called My Candy Love. In it, you play a customizable high school girl and flirt with anime boys. Also, you have a fairy godmother who trespasses on school property to give you free clothes.
Second is probably Youtube. I use it to listen to music while I write and don't want to get up to hunt for my MP3, to watch the classic cute animal videos, and to occasionally indulge in watching adults scream and fall out of their chairs when faced with video game jumpscares.
Lastly are various anime wikis. Whether I need to fact-check something, or if I forgot someone's name, or if I want to download the entirety of certain characters' Image Galleries, I probably drop by at least once a day.

Re: What are...
My most common three are usually tumblr, Facebook, and deviantart! I spend a fair amount of time on YouTube as well, mainly for music. Tumblr is just my space, where I can find things I like and things I don't. It simultaneously restores faith in humanity and destroys it all at once. Facebook is mainly for keeping up with friends because, especially over the summer, I don't see very many of them. DeviantArt is on the list, too, because I draw a lot and I find looking at pictures, and drawing new ones, to be a good form of self-care.
Re: What are...
DeviantArt, and a bunch of gaming sites like Steam. Everything else varies xD

1) Tumblr - Because, I mean... It's Tumblr!
2) Kveller - It's actually a Jewish parenting blog site, but they talk about issues that I'm interested in, wanting to be a teacher, and having been raised in an interfaith family.
3) Blackboard - Ugh! This one is for school, but I do check it every day.

Re: What are...
Btw, for any fellow sexuality geeks in the house, while I am normally very bored with most sexuality blogs, this one always has things I did not know about, or know details of. It is some seriously delicious deep geekery.

(It is not in any way porny, btw, for those who avoid sexuality blogs because of that.)

Re: What are...
CaptainAwkward.com A lovely advice-blog by a feminist. It actually has helped me quite a bit, with social anxiety and speaking up when people make me uncomfortable.
Facebook. For communicating with friends etc.
And youtube, I guess. I am struggling with depression and one of my less good coping stratigies is to waste to much time looking at silly stuff from Youtube, just to block out and to postpone having to deal with my feelings and thoughts.

Re: What are...
The the websites I spend the most time on are definitely youtube and tumblr but since I go there to view multiple content creators I thought I'd give a three recommendations of a few less well known youtubers that people here might be interested in.
1) MarinaShutup https://www.youtube.com/user/marinashutup
If you enjoy feminism, awkward anecdotes and dry humour you will enjoy Marina. She's currently hosting a Feminist Fridays segment and should, really, have way more views than she does.
2) Ashley Mardell https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXwXB7 ... RiWF4-dK9g
Perhaps the most adorable thing on youtube, Ashley produces a lot of different kinds of videos but my favourites are her LGBTQ series and her Beer and Chat videos that often deal with sexual orientation, identity and gender.
3) Hannah Witton https://www.youtube.com/user/hannahgirasol
Not all of her videos should be taken as the be all and end all of sexual information, but she's one of the few content creators I know of that isn't focused on sex education that really incorporates sex positivity into her videos. I enjoy the openness and fun she brings to talking about sex. Also she's writing a masters on Victorian sexual manuals, so that's gotta be worth something.

Re: What are...
(idk if it's appropriate to add to this old of a thread)
1) this site
2) youtube
3) Tumblr, although increasingly less so with the recent purge they had with their draconian changes in community guidelines
4) this one is weirdly, like super weirdly specific, but mimir.net, a website dedicated to in-universe information on the old Dungeons & Dragons Planescape campaign setting

Besides social media and Zoom, I love to window-shop online, so I frequent Etsy, Colourpop, and HipsandCurves (plus-sized lingerie) p often

Re: What are...
Along with Canvas and social media, I'm also on Overdrive (or anywhere else online I can get books) daily, so I can read books from the library, which is currently closed but is typically less convenient to go to.
