Birth control and water

I am sure this is a silly question, but recently I've got into the habit of swallowing my pills with lukewarm-ish tea in the mornings, is this safe? Since its not really hot i assumed it wouldn't have any effects on the pill? Is anything unsafe to swallow the pill with?
