Period Question

I have a no pregnancy risk . But my period is late. They are also irregular . But what can be causing my period to be late is it me stressing about it too much

Hey there,

there are a lot of different potential reasons for late / irregular periods. Stress can be a factor, as can be changes in body weight, biorhythm (like if you work shifts or just have trouble going to bed and waking up at regular times), hormonal imbalances (very common during adolescence), and much more. I missed my period for a long time because of a low calorie intake. I know this question is a bit old but I think it's important to warn everybody of this. Food is also very important for a healthy period.
