Pregnancy test question

Unread post by girl123 »

Hi,
I wanna use a Clearblue pregnancy test tomorrow, but I took the test out of its foil wrap around 3 weeks ago. The test seems ok though, not damaged or anything. I read online that you should use it within 5 minutes of taking it out of its foil wrap. Why is that so? And should I still use the one I have or get a new one? Thanks for your help!

I put it in my carry-on bag when I was traveling, so it definitely has moved around and probably bumped into other items I have in my bag.. Does that damage the test in any way?

The directions for Clearblue's tests make clear not to open the test until you're ready to use it. Whatever else it says online doesn't really matter: this test, itself, on the manufacturer's site, makes clear not to open it in advance like that.

So, because what you did is counter to its directions, you'll need to get a new test and be sure to follow all the directions, including when to open it. Read them first, before you do anything else.
