BC question/concern
Hi! I am a Sunday starter for my birth control pill, and I have been taking this brand of birth control pill for over a year. In the pill instructions it says that for the first week of taking the pill on the new pack, you should use a back up method of birth control for the next 7 days, or next Sunday. Does this mean that the pill is not effective for the first week? Just looking for answers. Thank you!

Re: BC question/concern
That's instruction intended for people just starting the pill -- where that start is with the very first pack, ever -- not for those who are already using the pill, and have been for more than one pack.
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has. - Margaret Mead
