Sperm and OCD

Unread post by Owl »

For the last 3 months now I've had this anxiety issue with sperm whenever I shower. Afraid that if any leaks or if I touch the shower handle (bath sponges on both sides) that sperm might possibly get on it if it was on my hands and it just causes a lot of anxiety. Would sperm honesty be able to survive on a bath sponge? For how long? Would it even be a threat for someone? Thanks

I would really appreciate somebody giving me peace of mind on this if there is factually no reason for me to be sweating this. Thanks.

Hi Owl,

Since it sounds like you're looking for information on how pregnancy does or does not happen, I think these pieces are a great place to start:

Can I Get Pregnant, or Get or Pass On an STI From That?
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
