Antibiotics and Nexplanon?

Is the implant affected by antibiotics? I had minor surgery last Friday and was given an IV of Mefoxin. It was just the one dose. This was exactly 10 days after I had the implant put in.

If you're still feeling anxious, the simplest thing to do is to use a barrier method as back-up if you choose to have a sex. Plus, that has the bonus of protecting from STI transmission.
