Nope, there's no time limit . Sometimes, even having a blank space after "I feel" can express something useful.

Sorry to hear that. Hang in there! And in the long-run, it's probably much better for you to be feeling your feelings rather than bottling them up or disconnecting from them. It's still lousy and hard when you're in it, though, I know.

Yep. Focusing on something else can help to take the edge off it, help you think and feel only as much as you can deal with in the moment. You certainly have a great music selection for that!

Hi,
Feeling like I need to vent today, am feeling a whole host of rubbish.
Physically still rough but guess that's to be expected.
Mentally feeling confused, angry, sad, hopeless, scared.
everything seems too much today, like everything is happening too soon, too much and I dunno what to do or how to think or whatever.
He was arrested and charged, he was let out on bail however he broke his bail terms, was re-arrested and is now in police custody (went to court and was agreed he would remain in custody until the next court appearance, I have been told he is going to plead guilty to rape, harassment and assault but not guilty to drug charges. Which sucks all on its own. I will have to go to court at some point in the future. The police called me today and they have asked me to attend a video statement thing as well as give a further statement thingy about the drugs etc which will form part of the trial I suppose. But right now I don't want to think about him or his trial or any of it, I don't want to hinder the investigation in any way but I've got so much other stuff going on right now that I'm not sure I can even think about evidence giving etc.
I am super confused and lost tonight

Hi Tigger,

I'm sorry you're feeling in such a jumble, though what you're describing is completely understandable given what you're dealing with. Do you have a little time today to set aside to care for yourself or get some social supports?

You're right that the trial can feel like a lot to think about and deal with. With going to court and going to give your statement, have the police given any indication of if you're allowed to bring a support person (or an advocate from a survivors resource) with you to help you through the process?

Hi,

Today I have decided to actually get out of bed! Which is something I haven't really done for the last couple of days. I'm currently sitting in my garden drawing what I see.

Yes, I can take my advocate with me to make my statement. She is going to ring me later today to discuss how I feel about it and also explain how it works, just so I have a background as to what to expect.
I can also visit the court room nearer the time of the Trial to make sure I know where everyone will be etc, I might a big might right now though have to give more evidence at the trial. So having a plan in my head as to what and where the courtroom looks like etc is suppose to take some of the pressure off.
