Birth Control Effectiveness ?
Hi,
(Sorry some of this story is a bit gross lol)
So a few weeks ago during the first week of my birth control pills (I'm on Lo Loestrin Fe) I went out to eat (the food was pretty greasy) around 9:30 pm and I take my pills at 10:30 pm. About 30
minutes after taking my pills I had a little bit of diarrhea (some stool was watery some was normal) would this change the effectiveness of my pills?

Hi Quickquestion,
Since it takes the pill 2-3 hours to be fully absorbed, there is a chance that the effectiveness of it was decreased by the diarrhea.

Okay. Will this effect when my period is supposed to come? I've been using condoms so I'm not really worried about a pregnancy but I just want to ask so I don't freak out later. Thank you!

That's not one of those things we can predict, since your cycle can vary for all sorts of reasons (but, high five for backing up with condoms).
