I read the article posted about D.I.Y. sex toys. For females, it strongly recommended always covering your item with a condom. I feel that if I were able to get a hold of condoms, I would be able to get a hold of a vibrator. What should I do if I don't have access to condoms?

Most stores that sell vibrators won't (or legally can't) sell them to minors, but condoms don't have the same restriction. You can buy them, or get them for free at some health clinics, even if you are under 18. It's really important to use a condom, especially for items that aren't designed to be inserted into the body; if you just can't get a condom then it's best to just hold off on using that item.
