Started the pill

Hey ! I started the pill last week for medical reasons. My doctor told me it would be okay to start on day 3 of my cycle. Cycle lasts usually 4-6 days. On day 5 it was gone. I'm wondering if this is normal when starting the pill? I've had protected sex the previous month so I stupidly googled why my period is short and it's telling me it could be pregnancy related bleeding ? I've never been on the pill before so I'm just wondering if it's normal. Thanks !

Hi Sundropz,

Yes, it is common for people to experience some changes in their menstrual cycle when they first start the pill.
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
