Bulimia ?

Unread post by lucli »

Hi :-)
You've helped me a lot.. I had a pregnancy scare and got help here.
This time I might have a tiny tiny pregnancy scare (but working on it.. we had only oral and manual and dry sex.. and you know me, I freak out about liquids combining for some reason.. even if that's pretty much not possible, hope I'm right)

Anyway unless you think we should talk about that (I really think we don't, again I'm working with my anxiety) I would like to talk about something else.

I think I'm struggling with bulimia.. I'm not sure if I'm bulimic or not.
I do vomit often (it comes and goes.. maybe 3 times a week.. but not always.. I can go through months or weeks without doing it)

I started doing it 10 years ago.

I do it when I'm stressed or when I feel I ate too much. I do not eat a lot knowing I can vomit it later. I just vomit when I feel like I might have eaten too much and my tummy feels upset. In my teens I was size 6? And last couple years Ive become size 2... even though my pants fit right.. sometimes they're loose and others a bit tight (when their tight I vomit).
I don't think I'm fat.. but at times I feel so stressed out I just want to get rid of everything, including food.
Others I think my tummy could be more fit.

I don't know.

I was wondering if we can talk about this topic, or if it's out of line ? I know this site is for sex Ed

Hi again, lucli. Unfortunately, eating disorders of any kind are outside our area of expertise, and not something we can help you with. If I remember correctly, you just started seeing a therapist recently, and they're the best person to talk about this with; if necessary they can refer you to someone who specialises in diagnosing and treating bulimia and other eating disorders.
