Brown withdrawal bleed

Unread post by gatesy08 »

I usually start my withdrawal bleed on the 5th day of my placebo pills. Today is that day and I've had cramps off and on but just a very light dark brown bleed that isn't even to show up on a panty liner just when I wipe. Does this still count as my withdrawal bleed?
I will also note I skipped lasts month bleed by using one pack after the other.

Thanks!

Yes, you can still count that as your withdrawal bleed: sometimes bleeds are lighter or heavier for various reasons (skipping a bleed by running together two packs of pills for instance), but it showed up when you expected and you're having what sounds like your usual accompanying cramps.

Thanks Karyn!
It became more red and heavier, still lighter than I've ever had but again I guess that is just normal.

Just like periods off the pill, withdrawal bleeds can vary from cycle to cycle. Some people using the pill also find that their bleeds get lighter over time, so that may be a factor here as well.
