Broken condom but on the pill, is this an issue?

My boyfriend and I have always used condoms and I have been on the combined 21- day pill for nearly 2 years, never once missing a pill etc.

I had my withdrawal bleed last week and the same day I started my new pack which was on Sunday at 8am, that same night we were having sex and after he had finished we realized the condom broke.
I wanted to take every precaution so I went to my pharmacy to see if I can get the morning after pill but the pharmacist said I didn’t need it since I take my pills correctly etc.
The only reason I am concerned is because at that time I had only taken the first pill of my new pack, and I’m a little worried since I’ve just gone my 7 day break without taking any pills, so what I would like to know is if I’m protected during the first week of every new pack I start after my week break?
today I have now taken my third pill of my new pack so this happened a couple of days ago. I hope this all makes sense.

Yep, you will be protected even if you're only on the first few days of your pack. The way the pills are designed, you have protection no matter what day of the pack you are on. You can read more about how that works here: How do birth control pills really work, even during the placebo period?
