I’ve having trouble with masturbation

Hello! For a couple years, I’ve been trying to masterbate (I’m a girl btw) and when I try, i feel nothing, I’ve tried going very gentle, rough, tried to watch different kinds of porn, but nothing, except my own personal fantasies in my head, but only a few times. What should I do?

Hi Deeerpill,

It can sometimes take quite a bit of experimentation to find the type of masturbation that works best for your body. It sounds like you've had at least a few instances where it felt good, so one thing you could try is repeating the things you did those times to see if you can pinpoint what elements bring you pleasure. Too, some people find that introducing a sex toy into the mix helps them masturbate in a way that feels good to them. Is that something you'd be interested in trying?
