Is EC needed?

Unread post by Lola2018 »

Hi i don’t think I’m pregnant but I want to make sure I don’t need EC (because it’s still time for it).
I’m still educating myself and I want to be sure I have safer sex.
I had sex in day 20 of my cycle (it usually hose from 26 to 30 days). I know everyday is a risk though.. I thought I was NOT in my fertile window.
We had vaginal sex and he pulled out when we came.. condom don’t break.
He didn’t wash his hands just took condom off and then put another on (is that a risk?? He did clean his penis with a towel)
Then he put another condom for anal (it didn’t work out so he took it off). He opened a new condom and I tiled him to wash his hands but he already touched the condom! He washed hands an penis with water and the same towel.
He put the condom and we had vaginal sex. We stoped and then without a condom I gave him oral and he came in my mouth.

We already tested for stds so we’re not scared for that. I just want to know if I did things right or if I missed something and I might need EC. I don’t want to take it if I don’t need it.

I know I should wait for an answer. I’ve just had a couple thoughts on my mind.
I would like to know if one must wash hands before changing a condom to avoid pregnancy. My boyfriend took of and tied the used condom.. then opened and touched the new condom to put it on, but I stoped him and asked him to wash his hands and penis befor putting it on.
Then we used that condom.. but he had already touched itbevause he took it out of the package. Should we have thrown thy condom away and used another one?
Could there be semen left in his hands, the new condom or his penis that could get me pregnant? Should I take EC?

We will not answer ANY questions about pregnancy fear or anxiety in our direct services from users who are not pregnant or who are not or have not otherwise been directly involved with an actual pregnancy.

Please do not post this kind of question. If you are seeing this text, and your thread is locked, it is because you have posted this kind of question.

We CAN and WILL talk about things like:
• choosing and using a method or methods of contraception for any future sexual activity
• creating your own sexual limits and boundaries based on your needs and/or presenting them to any partners
• making sexual choices that suit your own needs, abilities and limitations, including your own readiness for certain possible risks
• help locating or using emergency contraception if and when you have had a pregnancy risk
• discussing options with a real, existing pregnancy, and help finding and accessing those options, such as abortion services and pre-natal care, or discussing feelings or concerns about a past pregnancy
• help with anxiety like locating mental health services, sound self-help or asking for support from friends or family

For help dealing with a scare (including what poses a risk and your next steps based on your unique situation), you may use our tool on site built for this purpose: The Pregnancy Panic Companion.
