Hey there,
I’ve read in one place that 7 days after taking an emergency contraceptive, it is normal for discharge/bleeding. Is this true? Is the bleeding a week after taking a contraceptive Normal and not a sign of pregnancy? Thank you! :)

hey

Bleeding after taking emergency contraception is one of the possible side effects, as is changing the length of your menstrual cycle - and therefore the date of your next period. For your own peace of mind, you can take a pregnancy test 2 weeks after you took the emergency contraceptive.
