Birth control left in car

Unread post by nutmeg01 »

I accidentally left my birth control pills (that are also inside of my purse then inside of a little toiletries bag and then inside of the little pill case they give u) in a hot car for around 30 minutes.. Should i get a replacement pack or are they fine? The pack didn’t feel hot to the touch.

Hi there nutmeg,

Your pills should be just fine. It would take a lot more exposure to heat (the equivalent of baking them in the oven) to lessen their effectiveness.

Hope this helps!
