My last period was at the end of April

So my last period was the first of May, and I was due to have my next one May 31st. However, it never came. It's August now, and I have not had my period since May. Should I go see someone about this? And why would this be happening? I'm a virgin, so pregnancy is not possible.

Hi kyndy,

Periods can be late, and cycles can vary, for all sorts of reasons. You can read about those here: M.I.A or, Dude, Where's My Period?

However, if you've missed more than two periods, it's sound to check in with a healthcare provider to see what the cause might be.
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
