Mini-pill and pregnancy

Hi scarleteen!
I have been taking the mini pill with desogestrel for almost 2 months now.
I took it almost a full month before having sex with my boyfriend. We had sex and I got light bleeding when my period was due. So a very light period. That was two weeks ago.
We have had sex after that and I have been taking the pill very correctly within a time frame of one hour, mostly with only a few minutes variety. We had a heat wave coming through Europe recently with 30C°. I have been storing them where the sunlight can’t reach it but it has been hot in the house. I have looked at the packaging and it look normal(no blisters or condensation).
Do I have a reason to be scarred of Pregnancy?
I suddenly starten having light cramps and light bleeding, feeling a little nauseous too. Could this be because of the pill and that my body still needs to get used to it or could it be implantation cramping?

But here are a few things to know:

A common side effect of progesterone-only methods (the minipill, the implant, Depo) is spotting or light mid-cycle bleeding.

Another possibility for unexplained or unusual bleeding or spotting can be STIs. Have you and your boyfriend also still been -- if you ever did before you started the pill -- using condoms? If not, have you also both recently been screened for all STIs? I ask because it's very common for young people to stop using condoms when they start using the pill, and to do that without first making sure no one has any infections. Unexplained bleeding and cramps can be symptoms of infection (which would be a lot more likely than pregnancy in this case), so I wanted to check in about this.

Lastly, "implantation cramping" isn't a thing. Implantation is not something anyone will be able to feel, because it is as tiny a thing as you can imagine (the cells involved aren't even as big as a pimple for a good four weeks), not a thing which would cause uterine cramps (which are usually hormonal in nature when they do happen, and there aren't any hormonal changes from pregnancy that early) or other physical reactions.

Hi , thanks so much for the reply!
My cramps have gotten a little worse, quit like my period and the bleeding too, still light but a little heavier.
Std could not be possible as we were both virgins at the time and had no other sexual contact with other people.
Could it be that my period just started earlier because of the pill making me a little irregular?
At least I know it’s not pregnancy thanks for the reply, it helped a lot.

For sure, if neither of you absolutely did not have nay kind of sexual contact with anyone but each other before or since you've been together, the STIs that can cause these kinds of symptoms would be highly unlikely.

And yep, this could be your period and it may be going this way because it's not going to be the same as it was before you started the pill (it isn't usually for most people).
