How to be a better partner

I will try not to be too crazy about self-improvement. I understand that a lot of early relationships don't last long. But I do want to improve my skill in general and with relationships so they go great as possible and so I don't worry about it or so it doesn't add a lot of stress and work to my life. Thank you very much for what you said . I do accept myself and am not restricting my feelings
