IUD
It's been a while since I've posted on here and I have changed my birth control from the pill to the Mirena IUD. I absolutely love the IUD and I stopped getting my period about 2 years ago because of it. I recently started being sexually active again with my boyfriend and I was wondering if, because I don't get my period, it would be recommended to take a pregnancy test monthly or so just to make sure. We use condoms in addition to my IUD. I'm not really worried, I just want someone's opinion!

Re: IUD
Honestly, the combo you’re using is so highly effective, I personally don’t see a need for that. However, if you feel better doing that, it’s certainly fine to test when you want to!
