Thank you!! That makes me feel much better. So we hung out yesterday and I was feeling slightly aroused (not fully, but i’ll work with it). When he tried to please me, I asked him to tell me to relax and he basically got the hint of what I wanted. It made it much easier for me to relax and although I still couldn’t feel much pleasure I’m hoping its a start and that we’ll get there.

I'm glad the conversation went well! It sounds like you two are still doing a good job of communicating and checking in with each other during sex, which can make both pleasure and relaxation easier to reach.
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
