I'm worried my pubic hair won't grow back

I cut some of my pubic hair back with scissors, and I'm worried it's not growing back. It was my first time, so to be safe I stayed a good centimetre away from the root, but it's not growing back. I want it short right now, but I also want the option to grow it long again. Is there any chance it won't grown back, or is it just being slow?

Hi Sam526687,

Trimming your pubic hair now and then won't stop it from growing back in. So, it's probably just growing back a little slower than you're expecting.
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
