Excessive Masturbation

Can masturbating 4-5 times a day cause my penis to shrink? I see people saying it cant shrink and I see people saying that applying too much pressure can damage the spongy chambers/blood vessels of the penis. Also, I want to stop masturbating this much because its stopping me from getting things done. Any advice on that? Thank you!

Hi QU210054,

Masturbation, including frequent masturbation, cannot change the size of the penis. That being said, since you're noticing your masturbation habits are getting in the way of your ability to go about your day, that is something that needs addressing. What would you say the thought process is when you decide to masturbate? Is it something like, "I'm feeling turned on, so I need to masturbate" or is it something else?

Okay, so one option would be to find some other things to hold your attention when that boredom hits and you're not actually in the mood to masturbate. That could be a hobby, or a new piece of media, or even just playing with a pet or messaging a fried. Does something like that sound doable?
