Periods was late

My periods are regular yet. But this month its was 3 days late. Usually it will vary just 1 day before or after of expected date.am not sexualy active or still not married. What was the reason for this? Is there is a need to consult? Is there is anything to worry?

So, having a period arrive three days later than expected is actually very common. In fact, what's most common, for those with regular cycles, is a standard deviation of about 3.5 days on average. That means that someone whose cycle is what would be considered regular could have a cycle that was 29 days, then 31 days the next time, then 26 days, and that'd still be a regular period rather than a late one. So this timing isn't a sign that there's anything wrong.
