I was curious how far fore skin is supposed retract i cant get more then about half way down the gland

Hi there, CatMatRat99! The foreskin should be pulled back enough to reveal the glans/head of the penis.

This usually gets easier over time. Do you experience any pain when you try to retract it?

Okay, if you're not experiencing pain or discomfort, then the amount it retracts when you move it isn't cause for concern.
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
