implantation bleeding

just looking to educate myself
i was wondering what the diffrence is between period bleeding and implantation bleeding
for example would you need two tampax a day for implantation bleeding and would it last from Thursday to Monday so four days
and is there enough at implantation that would be visable in the toilet or soak through pants
hope this isnt too complex a question

Hi heybulldog,

Implantation bleeding tends to be pretty light. If the bleeding looks and feels how a person's generally does during their period and is accompanied by the symptoms they usually get during their period, and comes around the time they're expecting their period, then they can assume it's their period.
