Safer sex is a term used to discuss protecting ourselves from sexually transmitted infections. Is that what you are asking about, or are you asking about pregnancy and those methods?

If you're asking about pregnancy, you can look at the estimated effectiveness for any two methods -- including condoms (spermicidal condoms are not more effective than those without it) and the pill-- here: The Buddy System: Effectiveness Rates for Backing Up Your Birth Control With a Second Method.
