Good evening,
I am trying to find an answer to this question.
Will drinking okra water decrease the effectiveness of the pill?

I want to start drinking this to get my blood sugar under control.

I am on Slynd

Thank you

Hi Jaxmang,

I think it is unlikely that drinking okra water will decrease the effectiveness of the pill, but to be sure, you could check with a healthcare provider.

I want to add that, for future reference, this is a really good overview of what does, and does not, interfere with hormonal birth control: Something You Can Worry About Less: Interference and Hormonal Birth Control (you'll notice Okra is not included on that list).
And you to whom adversity has dealt the final blow/with smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go/turn to and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain/and like the Mary Ellen Carter rise again.
