For context, I’ve been dating someone for a long time and we’ve been exploring the idea of sex. I know they prefer it shaved as much as possible. Is there any tips for shaving down there to make it less possible I cut myself?

We can certainly go into some safety tips on shaving to minimize the risk of cuts (though I will say that tiny cuts are common with shaving, and it’s more of how to take care of the skin after shaving). But, before I mention any of that I want to ask: apart from how your partner feels about shaving, how do *you* feel about it? Because, while I realize you’re being considerate of your partner’s wishes, this is your body to decide what shaving you do or don’t do. Know what I mean?

I kinda already wanted to because I wanted to see if it was for me but she agreed and said she would prefer that way, either way I would have done it. I’d just prefer to know the best way to do so without cutting myself.

Lastly, if you’re shaving to the skin, you’ll want to take care of that area, making sure it’s clean and dry afterwards.
