I need help ASAP

So my girlfriend and I have never had sex we’re both virgins, but recently she’s been experiencing some itchiness down there, it all started with this brand of pads she was using that started making her really uncomfortable during her period and it would go away for the rest of the month. Recently the itchiness continues, she’s using pads from the same brand but different type I suppose, she’s really desperate and says she feels gross and I don’t know how to help her. Can you help me?? She can’t go to the gynecologist because her mom is very religious and thinks all gynecologists are perverts, so all she does is tell her to pray but that’s fucking bullshit. Please help, it worries me a lot.

From what you’re describing, it sounds like this brand of pads, or some ingredient in the pads, could potentially be causing irritation. Has she ever tried a different brand, perhaps a type that is all cotton, or a different menstrual product?

I hear you that she can’t get to a gynecologist through her mom. It is important to be able to go when you’re having pain or symptoms, though, and I hear you that you’re concerned about it too. Has she expressed desire to see a gynecologist about this? If she herself wants to see one, we might be able to come up with some ideas and see if she could go. Alternatively, do you think it’d be possible for her to bring up these concerns to her regular doctor during an appointment and see what the doctor says?

One last question! Is she able to make an account on the boards? It might be easier for us to chat with her directly about options for seeing a doctor. <3
