Does it count

Unread post by Secrett »

Does it count as cosca if I was 4 and he was 12 and it went on for weeks and he was my family member ? Also this happened many more times with different people over the years and some children and some adults but I feel like it's my fault as they convinced me after I said I didn't want to and I froze and gave in after saying no

Hi Scecrett,

I've moved your post from a different thread to it's own post here - What you're describing does sound abusive. I'm so sorry you had to go through that and having to process it now!

I can say that freezing and "giving-in" do not make you responsible, they are simply some of the tactics we use as people to survive impossible situations, I've done it too, and it doesn't make those situations any less abusive, and it 100% does not make any of it your fault. You were doing the best you could in the moment!

Have you spoken about these with anyone before?
