Is there a way to make my own dildo that's safe?

Okay so I kinda wanna make my own dildo. I dont have enough money to go buy one, and I dont know WHERE to even get one. When I finger myself, personally I dont really feel much pleasure. And ive kinda wanted to try using a dildo to see if it's the thing for me or not. But the problem is that I cant ask my mom because thats just scary, and I want to make one thats safe, where I won't get any infections or whatever! And I want to make one that wouldn't hurt me in the process of using it. And Because then if I get an infection, that'll be awkward explaining to my mom how I got it in the first place. So is there any safe options for me..?
