Possible delay for menstrual?
To be clear I'm almost 16 if that matters anywhere here in this question. So this month and last month I been stressed and emotional from family issues and my headache is more pronounced this week, on my tracker it says I should have started 3 days ago and now is saying a day late.
So I'm curious if stress can mess with menstrual patterns and hormones making it possible for it to skip this month completely or just be late by a few days?
If this is considered something to check on if it doesn't happen at all, how can I bring the topic up to my father? I always been regular so no irregular patterns until now.

Hi ICECREAMIDK ,
You are correct, stress can absolutely cause changes to your menstrual cycle including a missed or late period. Irregular periods, even without stress, are common for folks your age too. Headaches are also common for folks who are stressed.
I know you have shared some of the issues you've been struggling with on here before. Have you been able to get any support in the stress you've been feeling?

Thank you for the confirmation on the stress interfering with menstrual part!
No, I been too afraid to ask for a therapist and been trying to build the courage but failed to do so.

It can be hard to ask for that! You have not failed, but are rather working towards something difficult.
Is there anything else we could do for you here?
